This is my speech to the remaining Registered Members of the Church.
They voted to remove me as an Elder/Board Member.
Wiping the dust from my feet as I left, I walked away from their sins.
I pray that this speech is instructive to anyone who will listen. In the coming months and years, I will seek to drive conversations within the broader Church about the lived safety standards in our communities.
I retain my Membership as a Registered Member of the Church where this speech was delivered. I will attend services from time to time. I will attend Annual General Meetings of the Registered Members to monitor progress with the delivery of proper governance and safety standards.
For now, I need to rest and recover. My wife and I have much to consider regarding our future. We will begin that journey with rest and prayer.
